Where do I start?
I've seen on the hills and the harbours they keep up their armour but ours was lost and discarded from the start
Now I can see just what we are
We're ones who's dreams and desires get lost in the mire 'cos ours are hearts that can break in a million parts
But maybe that's wrong, and just maybe some are better at hiding their scars
And maybe this song is me wasting the time I should use getting strong, I know
but you know the scene
We all have a part
It's all over films, in the books that we read, in our history and arts
We never truly change the way we are
